Thank you for your faithfulness in praying for us over the summer. We have been busy at Global Signet Group defining our mission and vision, developing partnerships, planning for the coming months. While our hearts still break for the lost in the former Soviet Union, we know that there are people all over the world that need to hear about our Savior.
We continue to hear stories coming out of the Middle East of many people leaving their traditional religion and embracing Jesus. One commentator said, when Muslims find out what their religion really teaches and who the real Jesus is, they turn to Jesus. In spite of the dangers they then face.
That is why this September I am going to a special international conference on reaching Muslims through the Internet. While satellite television has been very effective in the past few years in reaching behind closed doors in Islamic nations, it is becoming more and more difficult to count on signals getting through.
There is not a single Muslim alive today that Jesus didn’t die for. So we are embracing the idea of using the Internet, even as we have in the former Soviet Union, to reach millions with the Gospel.
This month I will also be following up with our friends from To All Nations about the discipleship program they have developed in Malawi. It is so successful that the teams believe it can be effective in many other nations. I want to see that happen. Plus, I want to continue to pursue getting the Print on Demand program we have already sent into the FSU into Malawi and other countries.
I also hope to be able to bring you opportunities to bless children this Christmas around the world. I should know a lot more when I return at the end of the month.
There is so much to do, so much going on, and you are right there with us as we pray together for the lost in this world. Please let us know how we can pray for you, contact us on Facebook and Twitter. You can get excited about all the things God is doing all over the world.
